Some well known names are represented such as Hannah Solomons, William Kahn and Leo Levi.

Cloth 186 pp text in Yiddish. Illustrated. Pictorial covers on boards, one side is in Yiddish the other is in Russian there is a small abrasion on the Yiddish cover otherwise and some age browning to pages else very good. A Russian edition came out a year later. ( I could not find a copy of the Yiddish edition on Copac or Worldcat). Agurskii was a Communist Party figure and historian.
