Buber was the grandfather of Martin Buber and was a director of an Hungarian Bank but with a strong interest in Midrash and he published a number of editions of different midrashic texts. This edition is edited from a manuscript from a manuscript in Safed with textual variants from 3 other manuscripts.

Lowe was the hebrew lecturer at Christ's College Ex library with withdrawn stamp, shows some signs of wear, cloth is a little chipped and torn at top of spine. Still a robust copy. One small tear/hole to spine. Front hings a litle shaken.
